Comet ISON Still Shining

by , under Comets & Meteors

Capturing ISON was challenging again this morning, but I was able to sneak out one short exposure (1 x 60 seconds x RGB) in between clouds. It looks like it has changed again since yesterday.

Wow. This is the best ISON photo I have seen so far. I have been putting the latest/best ISON photo as my desktop background as acquire them. Is there a larger version available online? Like 1600×1200? I have no telescope, so I haven’t seen it yet. I might try with binoculars this weekend if the weather cooperates.

I got the same image, judging by the stars, from a location near LA taken at 5:30 PST. It changed a lot from Nov 14 to Nov 15.

    Nice web page.
